NATURE BEAUTY

Nature’s beauty consists of the union of the natural and artificial environment. The demarcation between plants and animals is not clearly known as some organisms fall midway between the two sides of nature’s beauty. Initially, Aristotle divided all living beings on the basis of their mobility by classifying all the mobile organisms as animals and the non-mobile organisms as plants. Later Linnaeus’ system expressed that all the living organisms are divided into two kingdoms namely the plant kingdom and the animal kingdom. After the Linnaeus’ system of classification, it became clear that algae, fungi and even bacteria are not actual members of the plant kingdom, yet they are referred to loosely as plants by many contexts. With all these diversifications, nature’s beauty is distinct.

The people of many countries feel proud of the flora and fauna in their country. The flora and fauna varies around the world. Regional flora is commonly divided into native flora, garden flora and agricultural flora. There are some plants which were introduced to a place by travelers or invaders who brought it from their own country. These plants later became a part of the natural flora of that place. Weeds; the name may irritate gardeners and also botanists but it has definitely carved a place among plants. The term, ‘weeds’, is used to indicate useless plants and it is also used indirectly to mean that these plants are those that need to be eliminated.

Animals occupy the other part of the line of demarcation. They are eukaryotic and their bodies are made up of many cells, tissues, organs and organ systems. An exception is the sponge. Their mode of nutrition is heterotrophic which means that they cannot synthesize their own food like plants. They are different from algae as well as fungi as they lack cell walls. Nature does not include the organisms alone but also the ecosystems. The ecosystems are comprised of both non-living or abiotic and living or biotic factors. A proper balance between these factors is essential for the continuation of life in the ecosystem. There is no other pleasure that can be compared with watching nature at the height of its beauty. This has to be felt rather than read about or even listened to in order to be completely understood.
